Hello everyone i joined cause I figured you guys can help me out. Im interested in buying a pre owned Prerunner year 2000 white and 4X4 it has 140,000 miles and the dealership wants 14,000 which of course can be worked down. But is this in a ball park ok deal or too many miles for over 10gs?

First off it is not a PreRunner if it is a 4X4. Secondly the price is high for the mileage IMO.

    14,000 for 140k miles?

I want some of what they're smoking. I know our trucks hold their value, but that's some ballsy swindling they're trying to pull off there.

If a dealership EVER told me more than 10 grand for ANYTHING with over 100k on the clock, I'd laugh in their faces and walk out.

Congrats man. We looked for a couple months and found one 4x4 first gen DC, and that was more than 30 miles away, and they were asking way too much. Ran ads in the paper and everything. After 3 months we hit up the local dealership and ended up with a PreRunner. Not a single 4x4 DC taco 1st gen in town. Frustrating.

You'll like your truck though. It'll last you forever!
