My 3" body-lifted 2002 Tacoma is sagging 3/4" to the left. Les Schwab says the leaf springs are old and it needs an AAL. My mechanic says it needs new struts. Both contradict one another. The truck looks weird leaning to the left. Anyone ever had this problem?

it's because you, your gas tank, and your battery all sit on the left side

x2. It's a common problem with lifted trucks because the spring rates on after market coil overs are the same on both sides. The problem is typically fixed with a small trim spacer on the drivers side.

    Something along these lines

No preference just what ever will fit and make it level. The description to the ome spacer says it will only fit the ome shocks so I don't know if it will work with his. I just linked that one to show the op it's a common problem and there's an easy/cheap fix for it.

So, when you replaced the leaf springs did the truck level out?

Here is an FYI for folks... So, after lots of research and talking to different people, the local 4x4 shop found that my sway bar/stabilizer bar is bent causing the truck's 1" lean to the left side. I must have beaten my truck a little too hard. Not a terribly expensive fix. Was quoted $150 for the part plus labor. I just didn't think the "taco lean" theory held water. A full tank of gas wouldn't pull the truck down 1 inch. Anyhow please respond with your thoughts...

Yeah I think one inch is too much taco lean. haha. But it is a common problem post lift.

1/4": Toytec sells a 1/4" spacer and is supposed to add 1/2" to correct drivers side lean
