Lift on Lift?

i have a 6" fabtech lift for my 03 Dub Cab and i was wondering if i could put a spacer lift with rear shackle extetions on top of that lift????

Im worried about the diff drop its prolly needed cause its 4x4 so i prolly cant with the fabtech cross member!!!

 

if you did a 3 inch lift onto of the 6 inch and have a 3 inch diff drop i think you would be ok as some people (or most) run 3 inch lifts without diff drops.

 

maybe do 1" spacers?

 

yea i would not do any kind of spacers? (if your talking about on the coils mike) but speedstick if you looking for maximum liftage. then do add 3 inch spacers on the front coils and a 3 inch body lift. that should give you a HUGE 12 inches of lift. although i would never ride in a tacoma myself with a setup like that if thats what you want go for it.

 

yeah that would be crazy i think im just gonna go with a 3" body and i will stop at 9" with 37" tires yeah it would be sick im just day dreaming about it i mean my truck pulls serious strange but with 37" i would be the man haha

 

yea as much as people hate body lifts around here its a much better idea than stacking coil spacers.

 

well, additional suspension lift on a drop bracket lift is not the same as stacking lifts, and is safer than throwing on the 3" body lift on top of the drop bracket...

and going that big just isn't worth it as it puts a lot of stress on the other parts of the truck, including your drivetrain and wheel bearings and rear seals with such big tires...

someone on CT did a big combo lift and managed to squeeze some huge tires and within a couple years, he ended up giving up the truck due to the damage to the truck and ended up with a 2nd gen taco which he then kept at a mild lift... he even admitted later on that while it looked bad ass to be up that high, it did a real number to his truck...

if you really want a beast of a truck though, i would drop the money into a solid axle swap and do it right...
