Im thinking about doing this mod. I just want some picks and the easiest way of doing it. Also, I have HID's and i want the fog lights to match the head lights. What bulb should i use?

you should just get some stock slim ballasts and bulbs from a Lexus, and than just retrofit them into your stock fog light with whatever kelvin bulb you choose.

or you can just buy a hid included eBay fog light and just tap those into your car. I would go the first way for the overall stock reliability.

Okay, you remove the corner light and there is a harness going to the corner light and another going straight down to the front turn signal, you strip away what loom you need and cut the green wire that goes to each light, then swap so the green that went to the front signal now goes to the corner light and vice versa. You will need to get a LED resistor to make your signals blink normally or let them be and they will blink fast. What you get is your front turn signals are now fog lights and your corner lights are now turn signals, you should also switch bulbs so they are white like the headlights and in some states you may be required to change the bulb in the corner light to orange. Here is what it looks like

on my driver side one green was indicated by a black stripe as you can see, on the passenger side the greens were noticeably different shades.

Once I got the tape off of the loom, it was easy...it was just time consuming to get the tape off (for me anyway).

You could do it...and post pics. Regarding the post-mod hyper-blinking (turn signals, both front and back), I like it. Think "strobe light" effect.

is the rapid blinking bad for the bulb? probably a stupid question, i just had to ask.

seeing as that lense was never meant as a fog light, i'd be interested to know how it does.

can you get a pic at night from the drivers seat looking foreward with them on ...and then a pic with them off?

IMO not a stupid queston (b/c I considered the same)...the bulbs will probably burn out quicker...but they're only around $5/set, and it looks cool.
