brush guard for 95-97?

    I can't find a brush guard for my 95 tacoma the only ones I find are for the 98-01 models....anybody?

    I am having this same problem on my girlfriends truck I'm looking for a brushgaurd or a bull bar but I can't find anything for a 96.

    95.5-97 Taco is exactly the same front end as the 98-04. It's the rear that's different. But the front ends are all the same besides the grille/lights.

    As an example, the ARB OME suspension says it is for 98-04 Tacomas, but it also fits 95.5-97 ones too, as I have it on my truck and it works just fine. The ARB bar is the same case, although that one might be listed as compatible with all 1st gen Tacomas (depends where you look).

    The main reason why (IMO) that 98-04 are clumped together and not 95.5-97 is bcause the 95.5-97 tacos have different rear springs (shorter pickup ones instead of the "true" taco ones).

    A brush guard for a 1st get taco will fit your 97 too.
