The OP said it was his front end creeking so unless he did SAS.... i doubt its his leafs:D I would start off pressure washing the front end real well and see if that helps

I dont know if your model tacoma has any kind of greese points up front.... maybe someone can chime in on that... You could take a can of WD 40 and spray it on any metal to metal contacts.... That might help

if you have aftermarket control arms, it probably has a uniball which is different than the stock and you might have to get that replaced as the teflon wears down eventually and its just metal on metal.

another though that idk if it is even possible to happen though

if the bushing in your shock is worn out it could be slipping up and down a little bit.... just another random thought though. im still going with squeaky springs though

I've got a 96 and mine creeks like hell. Mines problem is a bad lower shock bushing. Driver side. Take some silicone spray and try spraying your bottom bushing and see if it stops. How I know it's bad is (outside the creeking) is if I turn my wheel to one side, the shock turns in the mount at the bottom. The other shock doesn't do that.

sorry about that, I didnt read it good enough. But by random chance I have the same thing! but got coilovers 8 months ago so I didnt think it was the springs. Mine started doing that after I put on new brake lines.... Its gone away though. for whatever reason it got better when I retorqued my lug nuts. try that

I dont know what the proper torque is. I got new wheels and tires about 2 months ago. I know that mine started when I did my brake lines (took my wheels/tires off and put back on), it was really bad so I was out inspecting it and saw I had lost a lugnut. SO I went to my tire place and they gave me a new lugnut and retorqued everything. So it was definantly better after that but slowly came back. Then last weekend I adjusted my coilovers and had to take my wheels and tires off again and now the noise is gone. So i havnt diagnosed it but heres my data.

if you have a sway bar, loosen the bushing clamps and spray some silicone on the rubber bushings and retighten. if that helps, you may need new sway bar bushings.

Sway bar could have shifted and be rubbing on ur coils. Might need to recenter with heavier duty clamps
