i always purchase through wheelers off road when i can. ..they have been nothing short of outstanding from a customers perspective and their prices are fair.
not sure about buying leaf packs a la carte ....i would think you could buy them either way...singles or pairs

To the OP: An AAL may help your current stock spring packs return back to normal ride height, however from the looks of the packs, replacements are in order. Also for others as well. If you do haul a lot with your pickups (especially coming into spring and getting yard and garden supplys), then You may want to consider getting a set of Timbren Bump Stops. They will prevent your vehicle from sagging too much while still allowing your suspension to cycle properly.

Like everybody else said, new leaf packs. In the mean time, I just wouldn't put much of a load back there, and check the leaf for cracks. When I first got mine the rear looked like yours, and I helped a friend move and put a load of furniture in the back. After the move I noticed some extra squeaking, turns out one of the leaves had broken in half and another had a crack half through it. A new pack is the best long term solution if you're going to keep your truck a few years.

So here's a thought...that I was just thinking about a few days ago....

GROUP BUY for 1st gen leaf packs from Wheelers?!?!?!

I just want to get back to stock height with stronger springs (using the Wheeler's Alcan kit) to eliminate wrap and bounce, and would want a bushing kit, too.

I guess a lot of guys would take this opportunity to do lifts, though, and would want shackles, etc.

Maybe a percentage off each order (rather than specific prices) to account for different configs and parts?

    Thoughts? Discuss.

I'm in depending on the price. I would need to know the price before I could fully commit. I would also like the stock height with stronger springs as well. When I do have money for a lift, I will buy shackles or AAL's.

A few guys in this thread have said they needed leaf springs.

I would be willing to do a Group buy. Some ones needs to head it up tho, and build a list of people that want in. 10 order minimum. Would need to be ready to purchase by the 31st of March. PM me if you want to organize it. 10% Off.

Aw crap, I knew this would happen. Screw it, I am game. I'm a noob at this, so bear with me, but I was on the Weathertech GB, so I have some idea how it works.

I will put this in action tonight after work and see what we can do. Going to start simple with the stocker 4-leaf packs only and see what Yotadan can work out (Hi, Yotadan). If he can do a percentage deal rather than a unit-by-unit-price, we might have more flexibility.

Don't everybody be asking for special flavors to make it hard until I know what they can offer.

Sheeet, I didn't even know what a group buy was 6 months ago...

I have around 148k on them and I have only towed a 16ft bassboat during the summers. Its a fiberglass boat, with a 125hp on the back. Its probably right at my max tow capacity. Also, loads of mulch, my KDX220 Dirtbike and that's about it. The boat is by far the heaviest (I would guess 3500 Lbs with a full gas tank).

On another note, I just bought this truck about a 1 and a half years ago, so who knows what the other guy has hauled..... I've put about 18K mile on it since I've had it.

But the boat weight (vertical load) is mainly carried by the boat trailer axles, not your bed . I am no towing expert at all, but it seems if loaded right, the tongue weight would be pretty minimal, except from pulling away from a dead stop, but even then not a lot.

Who cares, let's get new springs that don't suck.

OK all you bassturds, make sure you check out how much they cost normally and how much shipping might cost depending on where you live. These things are heavy. Ya gotta be ready, willing, and ABLE to buy when we pull the trigger.

Dan indicated 10% off so far, but we haven't talked about details yet. You are probably going to be into this for almost $500 by the time tax and shipping and some bolts are figured in. Reality check...

I don't wanna go through the time and pain to set this up if people didn't realize what they were getting into! Oh, and I have to deal with the GF whining about how much time I spend staring at the kumpwuter instead of her...and then working on the truck instead of working on her...:D

    Thanks...
