    A few things to note:

FMJ is 100% polyurea which is probably NOT the best product for a bedliner (I'll explain below). Second, FMJ's warranty is only with the dealer that applied it. So, if he goes out of business or sells out, you have no warranty.

LINE-X has many products (including 100% polyurea) but a hybrid polyurethane/polyurea product is what LINE-X (and many other brands) recommend for a bedliner. Both polyurethane and polyurea give the bedliner desirable properties. For example, polyurea raises the tear strength, makes it dry faster (and thus looks better), and raises the temperature tolerance. But, polyurethane has 2 to 3 times the abrasion resistance of polyurea and allows for better adhesion. LINE-X's lifetime warranty is valid NATIONWIDE.

Additional Info: 100% polyurea is often used in light industrial applications because it is insensitive to water which is important in high moisture environments.

we had a guy come into the shop today who had FMJ sprayed in his chevy, it was falling out... still looked ok but there was absolutely not one mark from sanding in the paint. he came to us (Line-x) because we were close by as opposed to where it was sprayed some 400-500mi away. The people at FMJ told him they would cover the cost of having us do a tearout and respray, he gave us their number and was on his way. we called them later that day with a quote and to ask them why it was never sanded and they replied with our product dosent require sanding of the bed or wiping it down with acetone even. the person who we spoke with was kinda clueless.

im unsure if the FMJ dealers are required to spray bedliners to a certain thickness but line-x franchises are required to follow thickness guidelines and the truck that was sprayed by the FMJ dealer was about 1/3 the thickness that we are required to spray.
all things considered: materials paper tape chemicals and paying the employee a bedliner costs a little more than $150ish to do especially if the liner is sprayed to the specification that we are supposed to be spraying to. you can always ask them to show you how thick it is using a tool all bedliner shops should have called an Elcometer
you really do get what you pay for...
