Bro-lean

Going to be installing my new lift this weekend but cant decide to go with level or the bro-lean. What you all think?

 

I vote for level, or slight rake.

how bro lean can you go? i got the bro lean as in the front is maybe 1/2" higher and i really like the look of the almost but not level

 

I personally like level or a slight forward rake but that's just my opinion. Go with what you like because it's your truck and money.

 

if you ever tow or haul, level or front rake...if not...whatever you think looks best

I absolutely hate the squatted look when I load stuff in the bed of a level truck so I vote for a slight rake that gets level when loaded.

 

If you can get it perfectly level I would do that but if you can't a little "bro lean" isn't a bad thing. My truck still has a rake and I hate it. I would rather lift the front a little too much and hope it settles a little bit than not lift it enough and have to deal with the rake.

 

Higher front-end looks good imo...reminds me of trophy trucks.

Slightly higher in the front. don't forget to make the driver side a little higher than the passenger side

 

I don't know what to tell ya dude,, I just put on the Bilstien 5100's on the front (still stock in the rear) I set the adjustment second groove from the top (not quite the highest setting) & all I got was a bunch of bullshit " AWWW DUUUUDE, ! ya got a "Bro' truck now."" I didn't know what a "bro' truck." was til' it was explained thats when the front is higher than the rear, I mean, ok the front IS about an inch or so higher than the rear, but it's better than feeling like I'm driving downhill all the time(now I guess I'm driving uphill)ha-ha, anyway I do prefer a level lift, so until I get around to leveling out the rear with the front then a "BRO' TRUCK" is what I'll have I guess,I don't think it looks that bad, but whatever, at least it isn't an F-150, j/k..........

You know, driving uphill all the time is going to give you bad mileage...

 

its gonna depend on what u think is a "broLean" cuz out hear in cali is a whole style of bro lean lol.... i like the "prerunner" look IMO.... Bro lean here is 6" in the front and 1" block in the back... i know u can picture that ugly shit.... i have 5 in front and 3 in the rear which is almost level but has a slight "rake" to it...

 

I agree, but mine was kind of ridiculous before I put on my 1 inch shackles. My back is still about 3/4 inch lower than the front but pretty much never haul anything heavy. I really hate when the front is way lower than the back, it's so common from the factory, it looks very front heavy.

 

when I think of "Bro" I think of Southern California, long black socks with baggy shorts, flat bill hats, tats, KMK, Metal Mullisha... trucks that are just built strange with the front a lot higher. Are "bro" people becoming more known?
