Can anyone help with this sunroof part?

Its the shade for a 97 SR5 and I need one in Tan.. Anyone have any idea where to find one besides ordering from the dealer

Get the new webasto, its what i have in my truck, i love it.

 

If it's the factory moonroof, I believe that's a Toyota-sourced part. The shade assembly (all-in-one) is listed for $441.90 on ToyotaPartsZone. The lock and handle pieces are listed as separate components for much lower prices.

If you need the 'big piece(s)', it may be cheaper to simply install an aftermarket unit.

You could also try recycling yards / networks to see if one is available, but I'd be willing to bet you'd have to buy the whole unit.

 

I actually got lucky and found one at a wrecking yard.. in tan no less! Yep I couldn't sit down for a couple of days.. $75.00

 

I am looking for one also, I believe that its the same as the first gen 4runners but I haven't found one yet. I cut out a piece of cardboard and painted it to match my interior till I find one.

 

I am also looking for a factory sunroof cover for a 96 tacoma. I have asked a few dealers and they say that it is no longer available. Any help is appreciated

 

What brand do you have on your tacoma

I found one on ebay and one at a toyota only wrecking yard a few years back. The place is called The Toy Connection in San Jose,California. They are very rare now. I was very lucky to find them. The one at the wrecking yard I paid 150. and it was the wrong color. I used it until I found one posted on eBay that was being sold with the glass. Once I got the correct color shade I sold the other one.
