Which Combo???

i'm going to upgrade my wheels and tires in the next couple of months but i'm not sure which i want more, I like the look of both i just don't know what to do and the money can be a factor both ways since technically the 255/85's would be cheaper since i wouldn't be getting rims as well but only slightly since that type of tire is so expensive. Just not going to do 285/75 since i enjoy some power and mpg's haha.

i have 265/70's on stock rims as of now

16's are def the way to go. Bigger wheels are the IN thing now. Plus i dont think that the 255's will weigh as much as the 32's and youll get better gas mileage.

How much lift are your running? those 255's are 33's and won't fit on stock suspension.

edit: it looks like 2.5" in front, if so, go with the 255's.

Whats with the odd size of a 255/85 if you dont mind me asking,

i dropped to 15's when i upgraded so anytime i buy tires they are cheaper

33x12.50x15 bfg a/t is about $173 give or take depending on the site

385X75RX16 (about a 33x11.50x16 per ntwonline) is about $213

But then you have to factor in the cost of wheels, i paid $1070 for wheels tires, lugs, centers, mounted/balanced and shipped for my 15s and 31x10.50s but that's just what i did. To each their own, i probably would have gone with a larger tire given the chance to do it over again.

the 255/85's are atleast 200 bucks a tire from what i have found where as the 32's are only about 130-150 bucks a tire and i would get cheap cragar rims so the 32's with rims would only be a little more
