Except from what I have been reading, the V6 has more issues than the I4 that seems to run forever. I am looking forward to 200,000 miles of trouble free truck from today. :)

get a 4 then supercharge if you want power and will still be less $$ than a 6. I gotta 4 and does fine by me

21mpg is impressive on the highway? Wow, I might as well drive a Excursion and call it a day.

Me? I was not being sarcastic at all. Don't really know how you took as that but sorry if I came across that way. I did in fact get that mileage. I have 265/70/16 size tires and V6 and I kept it at 65 the entire trip. The sarcasim from Hcurtis was pretty obvious :)

No not what you said, what h_curtis replied to what you said. I think he was being sarcastic about the "21mpg is impressive on the highway? Wow, I might as well drive a Excursion and call it a day." thing.

    It's all good though.

The only part I dont like about my 2.7 is its slow at accelerating, Id prefer a v6 but what I have gets the job done.

V6. My 2nd gen V6 gets the same mileage as the neighbors 2nd gen 4cyl and I have more power so in my opinion MORE POWER and SAME MILEAGE means V6 FTW

I have the 2.7 and it's a great engine, but I wish I had bought a used V6. I probably could have got one for the same price as my new SR5 4-banger.

You should safely raise your expectations out of your truck. Its the honda of the 4x4 world, 200k is not breaking a sweat for these little trucks. 2x4, 4x4, I4, or V6 it doesn't matter; they all last.
