    Hey,
(new here) blah blah my names max, how you doing.
Great now that that's over I'll get to the point.
I have a 1997 Toyota tacoma 4wd, and I'm looking for aftermarket parts, and what not. Unfortunately I can't find any thing for the 97 4wd. Everything seems to specifically exclude that year's 4wd. Although the years before and after are not effected. What's the deal? What about the 97 4wd is different than the rest, and where could I find the aftermarket stuff I might want.
    Thanks for your help guys,
    - Max
by the way its just reg cab

I have a JBA exhaust on my 1997 4WD Xtracab. I really like it. Get a new O2 sensor while your at it.

The only thing I found to be different on my old 96 was the rear suspension, which is actually a pickup suspension. Other than that, it should all be pretty much the same as a 98-04 reg. cab (bumpers, IFS, exhaust, compatible tires, etc). Perhaps the newer ones have ABS, ADD, and more electronics, but the main upgraded components should be pretty much the same.

I decided I'm gonna go for a rally truck style setup, though it'll take some time to do, I don't have much of a location or the time to do the work quickly

Hey whats your lift? And did you need spacers, or have to do some trimming? Im planning on some 33" duratracs.

Whoa, been a while, my lift is 3" and I have 33's
Yes I need spacers since I did a body lift instead of a suspension lift :p
If youve got the money and choice go suspension every time
