Throttle Body Spacer?

Anyone done one and had any significant gains? I hear mixed opinions on them... I already have exhaust and deckplate done with a drop in high flow filter so the next thing to do would be T.B.S. or a header... I lean toward the gimic side with the TBS...

x2, honestly how much of a diff can it make, your truck is still gonna get the same amount of air going in to mix with the gas.

 

But it swirls the air causing turbulance and atomizes it better.... haha tbs are a fucking waste of bad engineering and time for fuel injected engines

 

Yeah that's pretty much what I figured. Just checkin' haha... Idk, I run a lot of hotrods and a carburated engine will see benefits with a spacer between the plenum and carb.

 

yeah but the air/fuel isn't dumped into the venturi right before the TB spacer?

i was talk to guy with an 07 taco. He had a spacer and he said he noticed better bottom end and MPG.

I would use it to prop a door open on hot days while working in the garage. That's about it.
