putting 5100 bilstein shocks

I am wondering if i can add the adjutable 5100 bilstein shocks with a spacer.. i have a 2.5 inch spacer on my taco right now but my front end sags cuz of a heavy duty bumper i made... so can i add those shocks and put them on the lowest setting???

 

If you put them at 0 then yes, otherwise it is always bad to stack lifts. Your down travel will suffer as well as your CVs.

A possible other route for you is the OME 882's and you can either put those on the 5100's or get the appropriate front OME shocks that are valved for them.

Just adding the 5100's to your front wont help the sag with your bumper....

The OME 882's are coils. and the 882's are a firmer/heavy duty coil which will support the extra weight of a front bumper or bull bar.

Wheelers offroad sells them for $153 And like i said you can either put 5100's inside these coils but the perfered method would be using the 9000 OME shocks (wheelers also sells these) becuase they are valved correctly for the coil.

There are many guys out there though, like myself, who are running 5100's and the OME coils. I went that route because the price of all 4 5100's is the same as the front OME shocks.

Its up to you what you go with really, Dan over at wheelers is a great guy and is more than helpful if you still have questions about your front suspension setup! Give them a call and talk to him if its something you want to go with.
