    I will try both MAF and cleaning the IAC hopefully soon. Does anyone know if the MAF has a gasket? If so, where can I find the part?
    It use to have a rubber ring on it, but it broke/ripped off. And Ive tryed weather stripping and others but it just doesnt hold up to the heat.....

    I think maybe fftbrat is blaming the issue on the fact that you have a 1st gen by only showing a pic of a 2nd gen. I hope I'm wrong.

    Sorry man, I wish I could give you solid answers. I've had my truck do exactly as you described (stumble after starting when already warmed up) but its only been a one time only thing. It doesn't continue after that.

    Could it be bad gas? Maybe a little water in the fuel in this fill up?

    This might be a long shot but is your air filter oiled or dry. My dad had the same problem with his chevy and traced it back to a drop of airfilter oil on the MAF senor. It took months to figure it out. He has been a mechanic for 40+ years.

    A.) Maybe the fuels not reaching the fuel injectors...vapor lock caused by clogged fuel tank vents lines...

    B.) Bad engine ground connection...

    C.) Fuel injection or something with the engine management sytem...

    Maybe I'm wrong but what about bad fuel injectors with water in the tank? Could you have picked up a bad tank of fuel somewhere? I'd prolly start off with pouring something in the gas tank that would absorb the moisture and see what that would do for you then proceed to the fuel injector side....

    You might be right about the Injectors.... I just read that its a good idea to have them replaced after 100k miles or so. I will try some fuel Injector cleaner. See If that helps any. But I did just put some in it last month some time.... Its really just too hard to tell what it could be right now, bc it just started happenning. And it doesnt even happen all the time. Maybe twice in the last month or so.

    If your truck just started with these episodes I'm betting you got some bad fuel. Not sure how to draw a fuel sample but I think I would try and get a sample from the lowest part of the tank...draw it out then look at it in a bottle of good fuel. That would tell you if it was water.....you might even pull some crap out of the tank along with the sample...that would tell you vandalism....

    It runs ok, feels a little slow, like I lost some power lately....

    But I just cleaned my MAF and shot some TB cleaner down in the IAC valve. Hoping to clean it up some what. And I also added some Lucas fuel cleaner. Took it for a spin, and WOW! it drives alot better! No more hesitation and I feel like I got my power back. The MAF wasn't that dirty. but I still gave it a few shots of cleaner. So I hope I fixed my problem! Knock on wood...:D
