    I was thinking about it.

Do people paint them or can you order them painted already? I know spoilers and such they come painted oem and aftermarket and they are reasonably priced while being color matched.

Nah man.. keep the flares black.. the rest of the trims on your truck is also black, and it's black for a reason.. In fact, I would almost recommend you herculine your black trim... er.. actually that might look ghettoo.. just keep the flares black, because it matche the TRD black trim.

Worst is the chrome door handle and mirrors of the Limited trim - THAT I never understood.. it's one thing to have BLING chrome on a full size truck like the domestics but a paltry amnt of chrome here and there simply looks silly.

That is true. Black it is. :D

Yes I hated the chrome mirrors and door handles on the limited. That is one major reason why I did not want a limited.

    I never understood this.

On my '98 TRD, the mirrors are black, the flares are black.. .hell the tailgate handle is black... but my door handles are chrome.

I don't understand why the one "door" handle on the tailgate is black and the rest are chrome. When I see sunfire red pearl 1st gens with black door handles it makes me want them moreso.

just prime it and spray it down with flat black? or at least the visible part so that the side that touches your hand is still chrome..
