Lift a Prerunner??

Would any on here put a mild lift on a 03 prerunner? I have been thinking about it but just not quite sure yet. Anyone have a prerunner that has put a little lift on it?

If you would put a little lift on a prerunner what would you use?

 

Do whatever you want to do. If you off-road it, I'd say lift it. If you have a lot of money with nothing better to do but blow it on a truck that you will only drive on the street, I'd say lift it. If you have something better to spend your money on, save it.

 

This will end well.

I would imagine that MOST people would put a lift on a PreRunner so that it would sit higher. Not coincidentally, this is the same reason many people lift 4x4s.

Yes, it's probably pointless, but who cares? Americans proudly do pointless shit everyday. If you like it, do it.

 

What's a "little lift" considered to you? A person with a 6" lift may consider a 3" lift "little." Others that don't want to go up to 3 inches would consider 1-2 inches "little."


But yeah...there are plenty on here with lifted PreRunners.

I was thinking about 2 to 3 inches. I have a 1998 z71 that has a 4 inch lift that i use to play with. Just want a diff stance for the taco. Whats the opinion on spaces and blocks?

 

Why? If you ever get a chance to get to see the SCORE Baja 500, check out the PreRunners and you'll be amazed at how many there are.

 

It's hated by most. There are some that don't mind them but most hate them. People say not to get blocks because they can cause axel wrap. Some say spacers aren't bad if you're not offroading.

it'a already lifted kinda compared to regular tacos. go ahead and lift it even higher if you want, but your mpg will go down a little.
