want to remove the 2.5 inch blocks from the front struts that were part of

my rough country suspension lift. its a stiff ride so

will a leveling kit do the same thing

I'd like to know too because I haven't found any posts, threads or websites that divulge anything about OME coils.

The blocks (spacers) are a leveling kit. The springs will raise the front of the truck and eliminate the need for the spacers.

I think that is what you are asking.

If you have any questions about the coils themselves, call Wheeler's off road.

My sarcasm might not be well received, so...this is the second unecessary question this guy has asked in the last few days. The other one being about front shocks.

Shocks and lifts, perhaps THE two most talked about topics here...the search function will keep you busy for hours, if not days.

This is a very helpful forum, but you guys are very tolerant questions like these.

Not sure your exact question, but I think this is the answer to your question.
Yes. OME coils and shocks will raise the front of your vehicle.
i went with 884 coils (shorter) and the OME Sport shocks.
Raised my access cab about 2 inches in the front after settling.
885 coils will give you even more lift.

I have OME 880s on mine with factory shocks, they gave me about 1.5 in. of lift after settling. Its hard to believe how much better the truck rides and handles now, next thing will be ome shocks all around.....

If guys don't use the search its OK by me. Sometimes it is hard for new users to search, don't know the key words, don't know what they don't know. I like the fact that you don't get flamed a lot on this site

one thing that does get my goat is 2nd gen guys posting info that does not pertain to the thread.( ie. 884 coils.) conflicting info tends to confuse new people. i know from experience!

Are you kidding? That is my favorite feature! People giving technical advice about the wrong truck! My fave!

My next favorite is people who ask technical questions without providing any spec for their vehicle. I actually wonder how they managed to turn on their computer, let alone find this site...

yes the bilstine 5100 struts will better your ride. but you could also use a set of OME coils (880, 881, 882 are you choices in coils the difference being length/weight carrying capability.) with your stock struts or with an aftermarket strut of your choice be it to 5100's or the OME 90004.

the latter being what i went for.

Buuuut...Don't set the Billies above stock or the new OME springs will really make your ride stiff. You can get OME shocks with the new springs and all will be right in your universe.
