So I called the dealer today looking for a TRD exhaust, '03 taco. Said they are discontinued, but I can order the '05+ TRD and it will fit. Gave me the model # PT910-89061. Anyone know if it will work or can get some exhaust dimensions? I would like to buy it but a $400 mistake is a lot of money.

Two different truck 'species' - different dimensions, different engines, etc. ... I'd be really, really surprised if a tailored 2005+ TRD exhaust would fit up 'as is' on a 2001 - 2004 Taco.

The design of the pipe looks the same and same style hangers. Just a different tip and material is what the guy said.

This really would be interesting to find out about. I'd be really tempted to pick one up if it fit.
