    ok, i maybe coming up with some money, and was wondering what is a good dif. locker for a 1999 tacoma prerunner?

    and also a good chip?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    No "chip" for the Toyotas. What do you need the locker for? Power Trax makes a couple of good products for your truck, either the Lock Rite, or the No Slip. Detroit True Track is a good limited slip if you dont need the locker. :)

    Hey Chris, I just bought a 2002 tacoma regular cab 4x4 and was looking at some posts when I saw that they have problems rusting on the frame, is this true??
    Oh and what do you think I could do to get the most performance for a cheap buck :)

    well, i dont know to much about it i just know there is some tacomas with horrible rust on the frame.

    The 01's and up dont seem to have any frame problems. My 2000 didnt have a like of rust when I sold it. Im sure your frame is good. You can wake up the 2.7 in a great way, but just like the other motors, h.p. = $$$$
    How much money are you looking to spend? :)
