    To be sure, look on the little capacities placard on your drivers door jamb. Somewhere near the vin on it there is a 4 digit number. For example, mine says A02A. That's your axle code. There's a table somewhere on here that has what each of these digits means. I believe if i remember right mine's a 7.5" 3.58 2 pinion open diff.

    Depends on the gear code. I think there were about 7 different gear ratios for the first gens...
