I am wondering if anyone knows the color and location of the VSS wire on a 1999 Tacoma V-6 access cab.

I have read and just printed out a 46 page wiring diagram and believe it to be a green orange wire coming from the engine control module. If someone could confim this and give me directions to the exact location of the module it would be greatly appreciated.

We are installing an Eclipse AVN6620 and I like to have the VSS wire connected so that if we loose GPS signal we can still have routing information.

Side note the HU looks great and when the complete install is done we will post pics of the install and the complete system.
