If i get the the ome 881 coils w/ billys 5100 and Lr uca's, what would be a good height for the billys? i hear the 881 give you bout 1.5" of lift from stock, i also heard that maxing out the billys will wear faster? is any of this true:confused:.

I want about 2.5" of lift, what would be the best was to achieve this?

pairing the 5100's with 881's is better (both in ride quality and wear/tear on the shocks and coils) if you're leaving the shocks on '0'. if you want to max out the shocks you'll be better off to get different coils, the 881's are too long and too heavy to work in that situation. My 5100's were installed (by accident, long story, not my fault) at the highest setting with the 881's and the ride was rougher than hell. Once I dropped the 5100's to '0' all was good. FWIW the front end of my truck gained about 3.5" before I had the shocks brought down to '0', now its about 2" and the ride is comfortable.

nothing, all stock expect got a OE replacement air filter K&N.
i have the same lift kit too, but my truck is a 4 banger so it will give my truck close to 3" since your truck is also a 1st gen and a v6 you can get 2" to 2.5". yes you can set the shock up to 2.5 but it can stiffen the ride. there's another way you can add a little lift to using the 10 mm enhancer plate.

881 Front coils, Bilstien 5100's all the way front set to "0" Icon Dynamic's mini leafs in rear, stock tires.
I have Bilstiens set to 0 with 881 coils and before the AAL it raised it 2" then after the AAL which raised the rear 1.5 the front droped about 1/2 " the ride is great.

if the billys are set to the middle setting, is that going to make the ride stiffer with the 881, is there other coils available that wont do this:confused:

What if i use my stock springs, i have 81,xxx m. how fast would they wear out, or would it just be worth it to grab new ones since ill have to take everything apart n.eways. would i then have them near the top setting to get 2.5 in.

I have 880s on stock shocks and I got about 1.5'' with a 4cyl and extra cab, I would say put your 881s on the 5100s set to 0 and see what you get. The OME springs work better with aftermarket shocks so definetly keep the 5100s...And you will get a better ride with the 881s on the 5100s set at 0 than with stock springs and the 5100s set higher.

    getting there....
881's and billy 5100's on my double cab gave me 2 inches of lift...the billies were left on the stock/bottom setting. its not a good idea to preload the ome coils.

The adjustable 5100s were designed specifically to be able to level the Toyota OEM progressive coils. The higher you adjust, the stiffer the ride. They were not designed to lift the much stronger, non-progressive OME (or I suppose Eibach, or whatever) coils, where it is the coild spring itself that provides the lift. The Billies can be used with these springs, but should be set at zero, and used as a normal shock, which works great.

The 880, 881, 882s are each 10 mm taller than the previous (881 = 880+10mm). That is the only difference.
