turn the remote beep off on the unlock command

Ok, first anoying thing, how the heck do you turn off the beep beep when unlocking the door???????????????
Oh my goodness, how anoying. Any way of disabling it? Is the trucks remote programable? I don't have a manual yet or I would look it up.

The keyless/alarm system on 01-04 tacomas is an RS3200 something or other. Years ago I programmed mine to unlock both doors with one press instead of two. Anyway I seem to remember when I was searching around for how to do that I saw people talking about muffling the buzzer because it couldn't be turned off. They would wrap it in extra foam or something (it's already wrapped in a layer of foam I believe). But search around for programming instructions on the RS3200 system and maybe you'll find something.

 

yeah and what about the auto lock when you start the truck?

 

In my 04 by the battery there is a plug thingy just un plug it and wrap it with tape so no dust gets in it.....if I remember right I had to tak my batt. out to reach it...sorry I dont have pics...

In the 2011 model the device that beeps is brown. It is shaped like a miniature public blue mailbox. It is quite simple to unplug and it's only purpose is to emit the beep.
