 I've looked and looked and looked but i can not seem to find a picture or a thread on DIY tie rod replacement.

Question is, drives side outter tie rod. Does the bolt go up through the lower ball joint piece like the passenger side or down through the top?

Made mistake of not paying attention when taking it apart. :(

Replaced LBJ after it snapped and now i cant drive over 30 cause the steering is so bad and my tires squal when i turn slightly. If this sounds like there is another problem let me know. left tire is straight, right tire is toed WAY in.

From the bottom up through the knuckle.

The driver's side and passenger's side are identical.

well on my 96 v6 4x4 the sides are identical and side specific, fixed my problem. Marked where the nut was on the old one and put the new one on. turned my wheels straight and adjusted accordingly.
