Has anyone gone in and added different color dash lights? Ive searched a little bit and found a few that have done the White LED bulbs on their first gen but has anyone else done a different color? Also, if so, could you post a picture or two of it? What size bulbs for Dash and Transmission Shifter? Preciate it in advance.

im about to swap to Blue LED's (had them months just finally have a day off this week). Mine were green stock, I swapped to Blue (turned green) white, red, and currently have amber. Its not hard to do especially once youve pulled dash apart a few times. This is all my guage cluster. On the otehr stuff I went white then white LED's. I like the white look.

4- 194 bulbs for just the dash
2- 194 bulbs for ac controls " Some have used 2 74 bulbs for the ac"
1- 194 bulb for around the ignition
Make sure you get 360 degree bulbs and you wont have hotspots
Also the shifter is a 74 also

I like the blue but I may go to white and just paint my needles blue :D

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I really like that White and Blue. Is there anything I should pay close attention to while pulling the dash off?

    Travis,
Where did you buy your blue lights? I looked at http://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle_led_bulb_finder.php but not sure which 194's and 74's to get. Any help would be great, thanks.

Haha yeah I dont blame ya lol!! It really was not that bad just tedious work. I may look into getting some lights that are a little more white. The ones now kinda have a warm white look to them.

Mine werent 360 but they were too bright anyways so when i dimmed them the hot spots went away but i ordered mine from superbrightleds.com

Make sure to plug you cluster in and check the lights before you put it back together some leds are polarized and only light up if plugged in right

Yeah I'm replacing mine soon they have too much blue for me i want pure white. the install takes about 30min if you know how to pull the dash apart it'd pretty simple just don't try to rip the panels off there is some screws that are kinda hidden just make sure you have all of them out before to pry the on the panels. And check the lights before you put it all back together :D
