Found a pair of 78" trail gear sliders for a 2005+ tacoma on craigslist. The sliders for 1st gen double cabs are also 78 inches. Think I could get them to work? This way I wouldn't have to pay for shipping and it's a sick deal :D

They should work. If the legs are already welded on you might have to modify those, but otherwise the length will be just right.

Yeah I just received some pics and they're already welded together, hopefully i won't have to modify them too much

Picked up the sliders today. Either the 2nd gens have a taller frame, or there is a bigger gap between their frame and cab. I held these sliders up against the frame underneath the truck, and in order for the bottom of the slider mounting plate to touch the bottom of the frame, the legs of the sliders hit the cab. Looks like either I'd have to get a 1-2 inch BL which I really want to avoid, or add some pieces of metal to the bottom of the mounting plate in order for it to touch the frame. Any other ideas?
