    Leaning on these cause they are 17" x 7.5" wide, but i'd have to replace the tires on these :confused:

    The sport 17" wheels look better in my opinion.

    I like both of them. If I were in your situation I may think of how much it would cost to put tires on either of them.

    I have the silver 1st gen xtra cab. Its a v6 5spd 4x4 SR5 with TRD.

    I was thinking I could find someone to trade me new tires for the 17's cause the 16's have newer tires, but they are a little dry rotted.

    Any thoughts on the difference betweeen the 7" and the 7.5" wide?

    My question, do you NEED to sell either set...:confused:

    With the way "WE" Tacoma owners change our minds on Mod's and looks if you have the space...keep both sets....then price tires for both ,figure which way you want to go NOW and then wait 3 months...you know it will change :eek: ;)....

    Don't really "need" to sell either one :p, since I got a great deal on the second set, but we are a bit broke right now and every dollar is helpful. Also space in my garage is VERY limited with all my other parts :( lol.

    Im sure its on here somewhere, but what taco's did these rims come off of originally?? :confused:

    Here is a pic of the truck as it sits with the 16's obviously:

    I was planning on doing whichever one I decided on, flat black. I love the silver on flat black look. :D

    keep 16's imo....and just for the record my truck came with the 17's, but still like the other ones better.

    16" = 2nd Gen TRD Off-Road
    17" = 2nd Gen TRD Sport

    I like the 16's more (I have them on my truck) and think they would look better on a 1st gen.

    You should also thing about tire prices. 17's will cost more for fresh rubber

    Thanks for the Info! Its nice to know what your dealing with! :D

    More I think about it, more I want to keep them both :p
    Im thinking about using the 17s as my daily driver wheels, then switch to the 16's with the more aggressive tread when I want to go play ;)

    I actually like the more stock look. I have put nice rims on trucks in the past, but then I beat em up and scratch them, and they just look crappy. With stock, I don't mind scratching them at all.

    For some reason the 17" Sport rims I think just look awkward on 01-04s. I'd stay with the 16" TRD off-road ones. Option 1.
