So today I was driving to work and my truck started to sputter when I tried to put the the gas pedal to the floor, then the check engine light came on. It seemed to be running pretty rough so I figured a misfire. Took it to the local auto parts store and had them run a diagnostic check and it threw a code for cylinder 2 misfire (P0302 i think). Took it back home and pulled the #2 cylinder plug it was fine and so was the wire. Decided to pull the #5 cylinder plug just to be sure and it was coated in oil!! I was having problems with the same thing about a month ago but in cylinder #1. I thought it was just the spark plug tube seals but at this point I am pretty sure it is something worse.

So I guess what I am getting at is where does this leave me? Engine rebuild?
