The gauge cluster lights don't work !! HELP

    Any ideas guys?? The gauge cluster light wont work!! Everything else works fine my ac lights. radio and shifter lights work!!! Its just the cluster, Fuel and temp that wont illuminate any ideas?

    1st gen run on 194 bulbs (all plug and play) it probably burned out

    The illumination lights. The turning signals work .

    How hard is it to replace them? Would be better to take it to te dealership?

    Don't you dare take it to the dealership lol...take the dash apart and remove he cluster...on the back I will see the small twistable prongs that hold the bulbs (4 I think it is) and swap the bulbs :thumbsup:

    ^^^this, have u checked the dimmer switch? I've had some people complain that their cluster doesnt work after a swap and their dimmer switch was all the way down :facepalm:

    Yes i checked the dimmer. Also Im gonna check the gauge fuse.

    If its only one section of the gauges then its not the fuse, unless the whole dash is out then ya it can be

    It is the whole dash !!!! Fuse is fine tho. Hoe hard is to take the dash apart??

    Dny worry thanks for trying to help. Does anyone has a how to remove the cluster on first gen??

    He did say his climate control and radio lights are working fine. Don't know if the 01-04 is different than the 98-00 but on my 98 the dimmer controls all dash lights (gauges, climate, radio).

    Not hard at all.

    If all the dash lights go out, why wouldnt you check the tail light fuse? Every car on the planet, the tail light fuse runs the dash lights, it is to let you know the tail lights dont work.

    Thanks for all the reply's the problem was the bulb were burn. I had to exchange them. Now its fine.
