'99 tacoma's lockout on the pass. side will only turn 1/4 way.took off cover and found no snap ring or center bolt. is there a video showing how to disassemble the hub so i can see what all may be missing? can't seem to find one on line. got a break down from the chiltons manual but doesn't really show much. and can a person get just the snap ring and bolt? went to o'reileys auto and they can only get the whole hub for around $275.00. rather repair the one i have. thanx much, bernie:annoyed:

    Manual hubs?

Only ADD equipped trucks have the lock nut on the end of the axle. On a manual hub setup there is no nut, only a spacer that slides over the splines and a snap ring to locate the axle. Those 2 pieces are a dealer item I believe.

If your hub wont lock, sounds like a hub issue to me in spite of the missing snap ring.
