Hot Air All Of The Time

I have an 04 SR5...2.7..This bad boy has been choking me out while driving due to excessive heat blowing in my face from every vent. It doesn't matter what setting the selector is placed on..cold..A/C on..A/C off..half way...it just blows direct hot air. Needless to say it is awful. Even with the fan off it still seeps enough hot air to make you completely miserable. I'm assuming blend door issues. Any suggestions on how to fix...how much it may cost if I decide to take it to a dealer?? Thanks everyone!!

 

My 2.7 does the same thing. As far as I can tell its just ambient heat coming off the engine and the heat shield just cannot stand up to the test anymore.
