Yes, I'm doing the full conversion. I'm trying to piece it all together soon. The hood will be the hardest to find

Thanks man. The only that looks kind of off is the gap in between the grill and bumper, it doesn't look bad though. I don't have picture that shows it

Afroman5015, how long did it take you to do your 4WD conversion? I'm very interested in this but I'm not sure I can do it myself

The actual conversion only took about 7 hrs with a lift and air tools. The process of collecting parts took me about 2 years haha

I really want to do this, but I haven't found the time or money to start collecting yet. I'm focusing in this conversion right now. I need a lead on a cheap grille but I can't find one

Have an idea where I could buy the pigtail that connects to the blinker bulb socket for the 01-04 Tacomas?

I promised my fiancé I wouldn't modify this truck... I lied.
That looks excellent! If I were to order just the chrome and valence (and signal lights of course) would all the brackets, etc. match up? Thanks much! Really looks good!

Well I used the 2001 brackets and what not and that matched just fine to my '98 frame. If you use the '98 brackets you will have to mod them a little to make them fit the new bumper. Just pick up some brackets from rockauto.com for a couple dollars. It will make the swap MUCH easier. My dad helped me and it took about 15-20 minutes to completely change out the bumpers. And that includes me digging through tools trying to find the right size ratchets. Haha

Right on thanks for the quick reply! Haha I always con my Dad into helping me with my truck stuff too. I'll note that for the bumper brackets. I hit a deer a while ago and got a new 98 bumper and I wish I would have known about this, I should see if someone wants to trade??? Might get lucky. Thanks again.

Its possible man, I've seen conversions that go 01-04 back to 95.5-97. Some people just like different styles, I would give it shot in the buy/sell/trade part of the forum. No problem man, if you have any questions just hit me up and I'll do my best to answer them!
