About to tackle this right now. Water pump bolts need to be torqued to 168 in-lbs. What's the conversion for this using a torque wrench in ft-lbs?
Also to run rtv sealant for the water pump, I assume it needs it on both sides of the gasket? Or should I say one bead on the water pump, one bead on the block, then place/squish the gasket on the block, then install the water pump?
Sorry for the noobish questions. Never done this job before. thanks.
