replacement shifter?

okay, so when i bought my truck it already had a 3 inch body lift installed. a day after i bought it, i shifted the 4wd selector and it snapped off of the transfer case. when it was body lifted, they welded a small metal bar in between the transfer case and the shift knob so as to make it sit more in a stock height. okay, so i had it towed, and the dealership replaced it. i asked if my other stick is going to do the same thing, and they lied and said it was still stock (i'm never going back to these guys). i'd like to fix the problem before i need to. does anyone know where i can get a whole new shift assembly for my transmission? it's a 2001 4wd. i don't care if it's too short, as i plan on taking the body lift off and doing a SAS later on. that'll put my knobs at stock height.
