I picked up a 2000 prerunner a few months ago and have started fix it up.

I noticed a slow leak from near the front drivers side. It is right above the cv boot on the drivers side. It looks like a seal has failed. From what I can tell it is directly below where the intermediate shaft assembly joins the rest of the steering. I have attached a image that shows the area I am talking about.

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just this seal and if so where to get it from?

    Thanks

thats exactly where mine leaks from, to tell you the truth it doesnt leak very fast i just check it every other week or so, but that part can be fixed for reasonable price

Pretty common for that to be a little wet.
