you know I saw this the other day and was thinking it looked pretty nice. I was worried that it would not lift the truck high enough. I have a big three ton floor jack and it is a heavy pain in the ass to drag or move around. Think this would work good on even a lifted truck?

 

It really depends how much of a lift you have and where you try to lift from. You can always use blocks to extend the jack anyway.

I dont have any experience with this jack, but 1.5tons seems a little on the light side for a truck. I'm sure it'll lift it, specially if you dont try to lift from the center of the front cross member, but I think it'll really be straining to do so on the front end.

 

Ive had this exact jack for about 3 years. Ive never used it on my truck (only had it 3 weeks) but for my 240 and my civic it has been indispensable. 4-5 pumps and they're off the ground.

 

Yea, Im not sure, Ive been looking into a new jack myself. Do you think getting a bigger one would be better?

 

this is a great little jack for the price

but i have to stack blocks to get my tires off the ground, but thats cause of the long travel...

 

Be careful with it....

I bought one and it failed. Returned it and got a new one. The new one has been good but I still don't trust it. I trust my 20 year old Craftsman.

It is small/short. We bought it for lifting our corvette just enough to get the craftsman under it.
