    Ok... TACOMAWORLD to my rescue!

    I just got hit with the rasp bug. As a e46 M3 S54 owner, I know rasp all too well - and it drives me bonkers. Earlier this morning, DTLT Headers were installed on my Dual Cab. My truck has the new TRD CAI, TRD Catback piping and a Dynomax Superturbo muffler. Shortly after installing the headers, I lit her up WOT and boy was I not a fan. The range seems to be around 2500-3500; all rasp. If I can manage to tone down the rasp, the truck would sound titties, so, it's time for me to choose a resonator.

    I need help determining which resonator I should choose. Here are the choices;

    1. Vibrant Performance Ultra Quiet 10", 2.5" In/Out
    2. Hushpower
    3. Aero AR25

    Video of said raspiness... not yet broken in, but I highly doubt it will improve much.

    Sorry, old thread... I've run into the same problem. Did the resonator help cancel out the rasp?

    How was their never a follow up on this thread. I'm looking for a DTLT rasp solution too and can't find a thread where someone has added a resonator. OP, if you're still around.... What was the outcome of the resonator?

    Yes.
    And then sold the BMW too. Haha.

    I believe he mentions it in his build though.
