installing spindles

Honestly, it's cool that you put them on yourself. Honestly though, and I'm speaking from experience, you shouldn't have a "work in progress". You should make sure you have everything all together and then install instead of putting it together piece by piece. Just my .02 whether you like it or not.

glad u got in done and doing stuff on your own vehicle adds quite a bit of accomplishment, but get the rear done soon... please

Lift: No I believe it's 4 or 5 in. with spindles, and leaf springs.

 

wrong, spindles + SAWs at ~2-2.5", therefore it was 6-6.5" up front.

 

Hey I'm all for helping out, but i have to agree with Lrgrnr that you didn't seem prepared for this. Asking how to bleed brake lines and how to get rotors off made us kind of worry for you. But in the end, it sounds like you kicked butt and got it done so good for you !

yeah I was just stressed out last weekend cuz i ran into so many roadblocks, I finally get through them all and this b!tch starts making fun of my ride when im just pumped that I finished it, im over it though.I was planning on saving up for a custom leafpack from deaver but im just going to get the 2"aal for now and get the leafpack later. I was thinking new shocks in the rear too, any suggestions?

Hey man your truck is looking cool, I think the temp rear setup will work just make sure the shocks are long enough to account for extra droop.

 

haha thanks man. bilstein 5100's are long enough right? I thought it was only when you went over 2" that you had to start getting extended shocks and brake lines
