so i has yesterday off and no plans. i decided to pain my TOYOTA emblem of the grrill because the white was a little obnoxious. i went black with color match silver outline, also painted the pinch welds, skid plate plus toyota Trucks emblem on it, rear end, and rusty parts of frame.

How did you do the outline of the emblem? Tape off the black?

Did you prep the rusty parts of the frame?

very nice work, on your next day off i could arrange for my truck to be free, if you are interested in continuing to hone your spray paint skills.

i do now know 100% if that plate mount is legal. i have had it like that a few months and no issues, there are a lot of cars here in CT without "official" front plates so i doubt i will get any shit from the cops.

i traced a pic i found online onto some parchment paper with a sharpie, then i put some masking tape over that and cut it out, the tape peels off the parchment really easy.

i wire brushed the rust and wiped it down with mineral spirits, not much prep
