    Hey guys- just picked up a 2002 Tacoma Extended Cab Pre Runner TRD this weekend. this is my 5th Toyota truck.

    I bought a 1980 Toyota 4x4 used in 1983 - loved that truck, ran it through everything. Took my wife on our first date in it.

    1988 Toyota 4Runner bought brand new in '88, carried the kids in infant seats thru grade school.

    1995 Toyota 4Runner replaced the '88 model. Sun roof leaked, made me crazy.

    got a used 1997 4Runner V6 for the wife, now the daughter has it at Texas Tech in Lubbock

    Now I just got the '02 Pre Runner TRD for me to drive. Already has 121k miles, but its solid. I'll be putting more miles on it for my job, driving between D/FW, Houston, Beaumont and Longview. I'm thinking of going down to High Island and Bolivar beach one night this week and kick up some sand!

    Hey, thanks for the invite - but this weekend is going to be tight. I get in from SE Texas late friday night, the yard has to be mowed and all that crap, then I to leave to come back to Beaumont on Sunday around 4pm on .... makes for a busy weekend.

    Starting September I will be in Longview so that will be closer. Maybe the next one!
