upol raptor spray

I am plannin on sprayin my tacos rocker pannels along with front heavy duty bumper and head ache rack. but i am wondering how far i should scuff it and should i mask and cover my whole truck? and how far should i hold the spray gun from the truck and other objects? this is all new to me!!!
can you guys post some pics of your rocker pannels sprayed and maybe of how you preped your trucks?...

 

so i sprayed my truck but i have my original rims on...

 

that upol raptor spray is some good stuff man. i used the tintable upol and matched my tailgate and sprayed it year before last. has held up nicely.

 

i did mine with e-z liner in a spray can.
