Made my own from a new set of silver ones, had them acid dipped and then powder coated, about $875 when all said and done.

Peter, I think that's the first picture of them since you got them back. I've enjoyed mine since they've been done. Looks good! (rep added))

Link, I did like RacerP did (mine were done first:p). I think I had about $900 in mine when all was said and done.

Thanks Chris, Yours on the black truck really look Darth Vader. I like it.

By the ways, thanks for the heads up on just buying the center caps from the dealer. I was going the route of refinishing the grey ones I had and had no idea how I was going to make the TRD lettering as nice as factory.

    Link Feeney,

IF you don't have shops close by to be able to drop them off, then you will kill yourself with shipping costs. Oddly enough, a few sets have been showing up here and there for sale. You h ave to be on them quick.

    Chris,

I don't know if you are still following this thread, but I really like the pics of your car. I was just wondering about your bumper. How did you black it out? Is it just a bumper from a sport package?

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Tim,

I bought a new base model bumper from Toyota (one of the local one's is a customer of mine so they took care of me on the price) and had it painted to match. The paint shop that sprayed it is also a customer so once again I got hooked up pretty cheap. I probably had about $200 in it then sold the chrome one and came out ahead. WIN WIN!:D
