SEPT 4TH PEACOCK FLATS RUN

not sure about the lift requirement for military shipping. Never heard of that. But I have seen several military trucks that were lifted way above 3" that were shipped on and off island. Best way to find out is contact JPSO they may charge extra but I always thought it was by wieght.

 

Where u able to get the permits? If you did I'd be willing to meet up with u guys.

Alright we are on! Silver Bullet got the last 2 permits today!! for those that are not sure how to get up there or would like to convoy up then meet me at the Kapolie COSTCO at 0900.. For those that do not want to convoy up or know how to get there then we will meet at the main gate to peacock flats at bout 1030. Bring plenty of water or other drinks. I know I will have my son as will silver bullet. After we are done on the trail we can all stop and get some grinds...and mabye some beverage to.

 

I'll meet up at costco at 9am. I'm always down for a semi-convoy. I'm not bringing my family just on of my friends that hasn't been up there either. Anyhow see you guys at 9.

how were the other side trails?

 

Side trails were fun. I got some pics and video. I'll try get it up by Monday. Good to meet everyone hope to do it again hopefully after we get some new goodies.

 

That was awsome, nice to meet BBQ and mabye even camping... thanks Dean I dont think I would have even attempted the initiator.. Oh dean I have your guage let me know where I can meet you to drop it off sorry about that. Kelson let me know what day for the cruise I will be down for that.

 

I'm for the BBQ too kelson. I won't wash my truck until then too. Just kidding. But on a funny side note my copilot Shannon from todays ride has not stopped calling and texting me about trading in his 2010 f150 for a 4x4 taco! Too funny. I think we've converted another one.

It was really dusty up there. Raycie you would have to ask Kelson how the prerunner did but I would imagine it was all good. The main road was a little bumpy but I was in 2wd the entire time we were on the main road. I'll try to get my pics up in a little bit. My wife's altima has a dead battery... damn nissans!

 

the PreRunner did fine up there, but i can see it getting kinda hard if its muddy, but if its dry no problem at all.

and the BBQ/Photoshoot/Cruise is gonna be on sept. 26th infos in the other thread everyones invited to come out!

Aw shoot, wish I saw this post. I was monitoring the original post and thought it was a "no-go".
