AC Blower always on

I did a quick search on this and didn't see anything.

I've had my '10 Tacoma for nearly a year and can't remember noticing this, but my AC blower (or heat for that matter) seems to be always blowing air. Even when it's in the off position.

This is my first Toyota (love it), but is this common?

My old jeep used to have a little air going through it at all times.

Are you saying air is always coming through the vents? In which case, see above.
If you are saying that your fan is actually blowing even when the fan speed is set to off, then you have some kind of an electrical or switch problem. To check your fan, sit in your Tacoma in a quiet place like a garage, and set the key to accessory, then adjust your fan speed at the dash dial and listen to the difference in fan sound through the various speed settings. Pay particular attention to any sound when the fan speed is set to off.

Just checked. I guess I'm a knucklehead.

When off, in accessory, no fan.

I guess I didn't realize that the recirculation/vent works when in the blower is "off".

I don't remember that working in that manner in my last vehicles.
