Hey guys, removed badges today and going to paint them black. Was messing around with placement and found an interesting spot I thought looked kind of cool. Sort of between the wheel and side mirror on the front quarter panel. What do you think? yes or no? I'm leaning more towards no but still torn. Oh and this is also my first time trying to post a picture. Are you just supposed to do it as and attatchment or do the insert picture tab (where do I find the URL for pictures in my photo albums.........sorry, swear I'm not retarded).

The important thing is whether or not you like it there. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool and makes your Taco unique.

I think it'd look better with the "T" right under the antennae , more towards the front. Just my 2 cents.

    Welcome to TW!

I like my badges a little more subdued. But if your happy hey, that is what counts.

IMO that badge is too big to go there. But I agree that you should do what looks best to you.

Remember the reason why it's not there now is cause when you work in the engine bay it will be in the way.

I took 'em all off. Originally I left a single Tacoma above the tailgate handle:

But now that's gone as well. The only indication of what model truck I'm driving is the tacomaworld sticker on the rear window. Nice and subtle, like it should be. You want to know more, you gotta ask.

Manufacturers these days have trouble with clean. Unfortunately of the midsize batch the Taco has the best looking body structure and some of the worst texture decisions (chrome grille/bumper, badges all over the fucking place, hideous taillights, shitty stock grille) in recent memory. Takes a fair amount of work just to get one of these things looking right.
