    None but soon......
Hi guys I have read numerous threads on here but still haven't quite found my answer. I want just a simple unit that I can plug any audio source into not just ipods (common headphone jack in other words). I am leaning towards the ones that run inline with your antenna but I can't seem to find any on ebay. I may not be searching the correct term. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Factory radio is installed by the way

I've ran that type before in a previous vehicle and was satisfied with the sound quality. I don't want to spend alot of money on the Grom version because I will be upgrading to an aftermarket HU in a few months. Just a quick fix. Also I just don't like having an fm transmitter hanging off my phone or mp3 player which is why I want to go with this type.

An aux input is basically just an additional universal input. How that signal is conveyed to the radio in this case is through the antenna.

i spent $15 shipped and got an ipod connector to the back of the radio.

it also has an option for 3.5mm jack but i did't get that cable, just the ipod connection.

it's the Metra but they discontinued the product, so it's hard to find. i'm sure the cable to connect to 3.5mm jack would be pretty cheap too.
does not do text, but then again neither will a 3.5mm jack connection either

so far so good, only 2 days installed.

i work at best buy i know what an aux is. but an aux has nothing to do with your radio. it is hooked up to your h.u but i dont know if youve noticed but when you go in a tunnel or something other, you dont lose connecton.
    do this.

I understand that when you go through a tunnel you don't lose the source signal because it is coming from within the truck. I'm kind of skeptical on those metra adapters. I can't tell for certain that it has a 3.5 adapter with it and as some stated before it has an option for that cable but I don't see the option anywhere.
