I have repainted black plastic trim on other vehicles with duplicolor "trim paint" it comes in a green can. Make sure you wetsand with 600 grit, clean it really well with a degreaser, wipe down with denatured alcohol, then paint. I did it to the door trim my honda accord I used to have, when I sold it last year after 4.5 years it was still holding up well.

SEM also makes a trim paint. (probably better than duplicolor) It can be purchased online or at most autobody supply stores.

A good paint job is all in the prep work

i painted the trim on another truck once before,it was something for just the trim and it looked great and held up really well . not usre what it was but i think it was along the lines of the duplicolor paint

I'd do Armoral 'Back to Black' personally because you'll be having to deal with touching it up if you get little rock chips etc in it.
