My question is Why? My Taco is pretty quiet without adding more weight and bulk.

I had great experience with Dynamat in an old Chevy truck. Didn't have to turn the stereo up as loud, and phone calls were a lot easier to hear. I did the entire single cab, and doors, and as high on the firewall as I could get. I would recommend it to anyone that asked.

As far as weight goes, at least it's not rotating mass. I probably carry the same amount of weight in tools and other supplies in my truck daily.

Check out Second Skin Audio. I've used it extensively in 2 vehicles and have been thrilled w/ the results.

Once you deaden a vehicle, you wont be saying that, lol. I cringe every time it rains b/c its like a damn rattle can inside this thing.
